Can you guarantee a specific speed or uptime figure?
No. Real-world performance depends on factors outside our control too — carrier links, building conditions, the devices and applications actually running on the network. What we can commit to is designing and building to good engineering practice, being clear about the constraints of your site, and being honest if a target isn't realistic on the infrastructure available.
Do you work with our existing cabling and switches, or does everything get replaced?
It depends on condition and age. We assess what's already in place first — a lot of existing cabling and hardware is reusable if it's sound. We'll tell you plainly what's worth keeping, what should be replaced, and why, rather than defaulting to a full rip-and-replace.
Can this be done without shutting the office down?
In most cases, yes — cabling and switch work is usually staged by floor, zone or after hours to keep disruption to a minimum. Any planned downtime, such as a cutover on core switching, is scheduled and communicated with you in advance rather than sprung on the business.
We have branch offices outside Dar es Salaam. Can you support those too?
Yes — multi-site connectivity is a regular part of this work. We design the WAN and site links based on what's actually available at each location, and we're upfront when a branch's connectivity options limit what's achievable there.
How does networking work relate to your Managed IT Support service?
A networking project — design, cabling, a new site link — is usually a fixed-scope engagement with a defined end. Managed IT Support is the ongoing relationship that monitors the network afterwards, keeps documentation current, and responds when something needs attention. Many clients move from one into the other.
